New Western Sydney Zoo to Open Its Doors

A new major Sydney tourist attraction, Sydney Zoo, is set to open its door next week! Sydney Zoo was first announced back in 2015 and is located in Western Sydney at Bungarribee, just off the Great Western Highway. This will be a new addition of the the famous Zoos in Sydney like Taronga Zoo and Featherdale Wildlife Park.

It was revealed that it will have more than 2000 animals. Sydney Zoo will be home to lions, cheetahs, African painted dogs, hyenas, spider monkeys, tigers, zebras, chimpanzees and baboons. It will also have Aussie wombats, echidnas, dingos, emus, koalas, Tasmanian devils and kangaroos.

This zoo will be a wheelchair-friendly as well as families with prams as raised boardwalks were specially constructed for convenience. The Entrance Tickets are as follows:

How To Get Sydney Zoo

Sydney Zoo is very accessible by car/public transport or rideshare services as it is located on the Great Western Highway,. Easy access to the M4 and M7 Motorways and will offer free on-site parking. Check out more information on their website.
