Standing tall at 10-meters, Sydney’s Giant LEGO Christmas Tree is up at Pitt Street Mall! Reports say that it is the biggest LEGO Christmas Tree in the Southern Hemisphere. It was made of over half a million of LEGO pieces put together by a team of five people that took around 1,200 hours. It also features a Santa and his sleigh, basketball-sized baubles, a Christmas koala, a pile of gifts, a reindeer, and a surfboard, a touch of Australia. A matching lights and music made this LEGO sculpture worth visiting this Christmas season!

How To Go To Taronga Zoo

By Ferry: Taronga Zoo is located just 12 minutes from Circular Quay by ferry. Catch a ferry just beside the Circular Quay Train Station.

By Bus: The 247 Bus via Military Road and Bradleys Head Road to Taronga Zoo can be caught from Wynyard – Stand A (Carrington St) or QVB Stand D (York St). Also from Chatswood Interchange – Stand J take the 257 via Victoria Ave, Penshurst Street, Willoughby Road, Pacific Highway, Falcon Street and Military Road. Change at Mosman Junction and take the 247 via Military Road and Bradleys Head Road to Taronga Zoo. A lternatively, from the Chatswood Interchange, take the 143 from Stand M via Pacific Highway, Falcon Street and Military Road. Disembark near Cowles Road and take the 247 via Military Rd and Bradleys Head Road to Taronga Zoo. From Balmoral Beach: take the 238 Bus from The Esplanade via Raglan Street, Wolseley Road, Middle Head Road and Bradleys Head Road to Taronga Zoo. From Clifton Gardens: take the 228 Bus from Morella Road via Thompson Street to Whiting Beach Road for a short walk to Taronga Zoo.

By Car: Cross the harbour either via the Harbour Bridge or Sydney Harbour Tunnel and continue on to the Warringah Freeway before taking the Military Road exit and turning right onto Military Road. Follow Military Road to Spit Junction and turn right to stay on Military Road in Mosman. At the roundabout, take the second exit on to Bradleys Head Road and continue 1.3km before arriving at Taronga Zoo. If you’re coming from M2 Motorway, continue on to the Lane Cove Tunnel, making a slight right at the Gore Hill Freeway. Continue on to the Warringah Freeway before exiting on the right on to the Military Road exit. Continue on to Military Road, later turning right to stay on Miliary Road in Mosman. At the roundabout, take the second exit on to Bradleys Head Road and continue 1.3km before arriving at Taronga Zoo. If you’re coming via the M5: Follow the M5 South West Way Motorway, merging on to General Holmes Drive. Take a slight left at the Eastern Distributor and continue onto the Cahill Expressway and continuing further on to the Sydney Harbour Tunnel. Continue on to the Warringah Freeway and exit right on to Falcon Street, continuing onto Military Road, later turning right to stay on Miliary Road in Mosman. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Bradleys Head Road and continue 1.3km before arriving at Taronga Zoo.
