Caitlyn Shadbolt is from the small town country town Gympie, in Queensland.  She’s a country singer and want to bring that whole country vibe at The X Factor Australia center stage. To kick off her music genre,  She performed a Keith Urban’s top country song “Days Go By.” Is Australia ready for Country music?

Caitlyn received awesome comments from the judges. Nat said: “I love seeing you do what you do. Country music is your thing.” Dannii said: “I love that song choice for you… It’s like Katty Perry meets Taylor Swift… I would buy your song!”  Redfoo added “You sounded great. The whole country vibe was just great… great first performance” Her Coach Ronan said “I’m so proud of you. This is who you are. Australia gonna love and vote for you.”

16 year old Sydnee Carter from Perth, Western Australia debuts at  The X Factor Australia‘s stage with a very massive song by Coldplay.  She had a very outstanding audition but made some mistakes in her Bootcamp and Home Visits. Nonetheless, her coach Ronan put her to the Live Shows for her amazing talent and great voice.

Sydnee redeemed herself with positive comments from the judges. Nat said: “You don’t need big notes to stand out. You captivate the audience.” Dannii said: “I have loved your voice since your first audition. Great voice. Great song!”   Redfoo added  “It was beautiful. Her Coach Ronan said “your performance is mesmerizing. Well done!”

Brother 3 The X Factor Australia Live Shows Week 1 Top 13
Brothers 3 is the Wildcard entry of The X Factor Australia! Brother 3 Band who all grew up in an Aussie farm made it to this year’s  Home Visits but was not sent through to the Live Shows. Australia viewers disagreed and voted Brother 3 to perform live on the X Factor Australia stage as the Wildcard. A second chance for these siblings. They performed a Bruno Mars very popular song “Just the Way You Are.”

Brother 3  got a standing ovation from the judges.Commenting on their performance, Redfoo said he is so excited to see them on the show. “Now you’re back and that incredible!” Ronan said “it’s just brilliant! You just bring so much joy, laughter and fun to the show!” Nat said: “I’m so glad you guys made it!” Their Coach Dannii said: “well done guys. So great to see you here. There is nothing like you in the charts!”

24 years old from Western Sydney, who is originally from New Zealand,  Tee (Ofisa Toleafa) is back at the stage of The X Factor Australia for the live shows. He failed to made it last year but reached the Home Visits. Singing “Love Me Again” by John Newman, his soul singing ability and incredible voice emerged.

The judges gave Tee a standing ovation. Dannii said: “what an amazing performance. That was so incredible… The voice was so powerful!” Redfoo added: “That voice is incredible. That’s magnificent.”

Ronan said “you are so ready for the X Factor. Very impressive!”  His Coach Nat proudly said: “You’re unbelievable! ”

17 year old Sydneysider Adrien Nookadu take the center stage of The X Factor Australia with a Jason Derulo song. Singing and fancy dancing “Stupid Love,” Adrien’s showcased his dancing moves and vocal ability. A fresh talent. He did not disappoint the judges, studio audience, and viewers.

The judges comments are mostly positive. Dannii said: “it’s one of my most favorite productions in the show. I love the moves and want to see more!” Redfoo added: “I don’t think we have someone like you on the show that can dance like that. You’ve got that Usher thing going.”

Ronan said “you look like a movie star. You’ve got incredible moves… you’re fantastic!” His Coach Nat proudly said: “you’re a star! ”

Marlisa Punzalan The X Factor Australia Live Shows Week 1 Top 13
The youngest contestant of The X Factor Australia Marlisa Punzalan has taken on a monster song by Celine Dion. Singing “All By Myself ” Marlisa showed Australia viewers what she can do. It’s a very risky song to sing but she gave it her best. Marlisa has been a consistent top performer and a strong contender for the title and her coach Ronan thinks she is the strongest competitor.

Mixed comments from the judges but generally she was lauded with her performance. Nat said: “to be standing up there singing a Celine Dion song is ridiculous.” She added by saying Marlisa is awesome and amazing and  that she is a threat to the X Factor competition. Dannii said she looked like an absolute star but added the thought that Ronan picked the wrong song for Marlisa. 

Redfoo defended Ronan’s choice that “he chose a great song for a great singer. She nailed it!  It was amazing!” Her coach Ronan said “Marlisa’s performance  is unbelievable,” adding: “not a lot of people in the world can sing just like that.”

Jason Heerah kicked off the opening of the much awaited X Factor Live shows! Singing Ed Sheeran’s very popular song “Sing”, he heated up the X Factor centre stage for the night. A soul singer songwriter, drummer, percussionist, Jason proved that he deserved to be in the X Factor and on Redfoo’s Top 3 Over 25s category. He finished with standing ovation at the end of his performance. The judges comments are all positive. Ronan said “it was absolutely fantastic and I love it!” Nat added: “beautiful to hear from you. It’s your time to shine, and it’s great to see you up there.” Dannii said: “Jason, you stood out! Great song choice! The song sounds easy when you do it but it’s hard to do.” His coach Redfoo proudly said: “You nailed it!”

Marlisa Punzalan X Factor Home Visits Performance – 14 year old Marlisa Punzalan have been doing really well since her unforgettable audition performance of  “Yesterday,” a classic song of The Beatles, and taking on a big hit by Jesicca Mauboy with the song “Never Be The Same.”  She has one hurdle to go before she will sing live for Australian TV and will try to win votes from TV viewers to keep her in the competition. Olivia, Anthony & Tamara and Alexa Sing Stop The Voice Kids Australia 2014 Battles Round – 12 years old Olivia from Victoria battles it out against  10 and 9 years old duo Anthony and Tamara of New South Wales, and 1o years old Queenslander Alexa. These Team Delta young stars spiced up and surprised Mel B of Spice Girls popular song “Stop.” Really lovely to see these young talents. Make sure you watch it to the end.
