Marlisa Punzalan Sings Her Audition Song ‘Yesterday’ Grand Finals The X Factor Australia 2014

Marlisa performed her audition song ‘Yesterday‘ as she opened her campaign for the title as The X Factor Australia Winner 2014. Her original audition version went viral on Youtube. As of this writing, it attracted over 2 million views!  With this grand finals performance, the judges were so impressed and gave Marlisa a standing ovation.  Her coach Ronan was so proud of her performance and Redfoo was all praise saying:”“What a way to kick off the 2014 Grand Final baby, that was incredible. That was perfect!”

Dean Ray performed his winner’s single “Coming Back.” It will be his debut single if he wins The X Factor Australia 2014 title.The judges gave Dean a standing ovation. Ronan was all praise to Dean saying: “When I grow up I want to be as cool as you. Perfect, great job.”  Redfoo agreed saying: “you’re just a world class act.” Danni said: “it’s just beautiful!” His coach Nat was just so proud adding:”I don’t feel that you’re a contestant up there. That’s a true sign of a star!”

This is it! The much awaited Grand Finals of the X Factor Australia 2014. Marlisa, Brothers 3, and Dean Ray showed their best to impress Australian viewers. Each of these contestants performed their would be Debut Single and will be released as soon as the winner is announced tonight.

For Marlisa, her Debut Single is entitled “Stand by You.”   A laudable performance, standing ovation, and praises from the judges. Redfoo said: “yeah baby! That was a sure hit! All you need to do is win this thing!” Dannii Minogue was impressed: “Well done, that was an absolutely superb performance.”  Nat said: “what you’ve done together (with Ronan) was fantastic.” Ronan said he couldn’t be prouder: “Who you are is very endearing. You are so authentic… you are so real… they say that good girls finish last, I don’t believe that and I hope that’s not the way it’s gonna be tonight. If this is my last year on the show, I hope that I can leave with a worthy winner like you.”

5 Seconds of Summer X Factor Australia Live Performance

5 Seconds of Summer or 5SOS invaded the X Factor Australia stage performing their top charting songs including Amnesia. 5SOS is an Aussie pride boys band with songs of  pop rock band with pop punk elements. They are from Sydney and the group was formed in 2011.  The band consists of Luke Hemmings (lead vocals, guitar), Michael Clifford (guitar, vocals), Calum Hood (bass guitar, vocals) and Ashton Irwin (drums, vocals).

For her first song of the night, Reigan Derry takes on “Can’t Remember to Forget You,”  a song recorded by Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira. It’s an upbeat song that suited Reigan’s voice. After surviving the bottom two  few weeks ago, she is definitely back doing her best to win votes so she will be in the grand finals. The judges comments were generally positive on this particular performance.
