Dean Ray Sings The Power of Love X Factor Australia Top 4 Semi-Finals

Dean Ray was at the bottom two last week for the first time. The judges were giving him standing ovations in most of his performances so far but Australian TV viewers say otherwise. For his first song for the Passion and Power Week, he performed “The Power of Love,” a song originally recorded and released by English band Frankie Goes to Hollywood. The judges gave Dean a standing ovation.

Brothers 3 Sings One Direction’s Best Song Ever X Factor Australia Semi-Finals Top 4

Brothers 3 opened tonight’s Power and Passion week at the The X Factor Australia. And it’s semifinals week with only 4 contestants remaining. After tonight’s performance, three will move on the Grand Finals next week. So their coach Danii picked “Best Song Ever” for Brothers 3 for their first song of the night. This song was recorded by British boy band One Direction.

Nat said: “what I love about you is the energy you put on your performance!” Ronan said; “Great fun, guys. Love your enthusiasm every single week,” but he added, “I don’t feel vocally the quality was good enough, personally. We got to be tough now. It wasn’t up to scratch.” Redfoo said: “Great energy. What a way to open the show but some tiny issues.”  Their Coach Dannii  said: “Brothers 3, amazing opening to the show!”

Marlisa Punzalan Sings Alicia Keys’s Girl on Fire X Factor Australia Semi-Finals (Top 4)

It’s semi-finals week at the X Factor Australia. Only 4 contestants are left in the competition. Three will go the Grand finals next week after tonight’s performance. Marlisa kicked off her campaign on this week’s Power and Passion Theme with the song, “Girl on Fire,” sang and recorded by American singer-songwriter Alicia Keys. It suited Marlisa really well! It is huge surprise that only her Coach Ronan stood up when it supposed to be a standing ovation performance. Are the judges now down playing performances as a tactic to get their acts into the next round?

The Top 5 Results of X Factor Australia was announced and Australia voted Dean Ray and Caitlyn Shadbolt  at the bottom two for tonight’s Live Decider showdown. It was a big surprise for Dean who has consistently nailing big performances week after week including iTunes success. For Caitlyn, it’s her third appearance at the bottom 2.

Brothers 3 takes on “Que Sera,” a song by Australian dance-pop group Justice Crew. This is their second song of the night at The X Factor Australia’s Killer Tracks and Curve Balls Theme. The judges comments were all positive this time.

Redfoo said: “two words to start my comment: yeah baby! That is what I wanna hear on your album.”  Ronan said: “Boys I’m smiling again. This is who you are. Love it! That’s gonna be high on iTunes tomorrow.” Nat said: “That was really lovely. well done!” Their Coach Dannii was ecstatic with the performance of his boys.

Country Star Caitlyn Shadbolt has the chance to showcase her genre on this week’s Killer Hits and Curve Balls Theme. For her first song, which is her killer hit song, is the smash hit Before He Cheats, a record breaking single from Carrie Underwood.

The judges comments were quite good. Nat said: “great performance.Great to see you do what you love!” Dannii said “great song! awesome outfit!”  Redfoo said “this was really really good. Killer track!” Ronan added: “This is your home! You just shown Australia what you can do.”

Reigan Derry takes on Radiohead’s smash hit, Creep, for her first song of the night at the X Factor Australia Killer Hits and Curve Balls Theme. Reigan was at the bottom two last week and was nearly sent home. This particular performance attracted mixed comments from the judges.

Ronan started of by saying: “There is no denying that when you sing you are incredible but something did not work for me.” Nat said: “I hated this song for you. It’s too aggressive.” Dannii had a long comment and critique on the “over sexualized” outfit. Her Coach Redfoo came to the rescue to lift Reagan spirit’s up.
