Dannii Minogue has chosen this song for the night’s Judges Challenge episode. Danniii said: “I wanted to take her back to the music she and I both love and it turned out to be a phenomenal choice of song as all the judges gave her positive comments. Natalie belongs to the Over 25s category mentored by James Blunt.

Judges’ Challenge shakes up the X Factor Australia 2015 competition where Top 6 get sing a song not picked by their own mentor. For Cyrus Villanueva, Guy gave him the classic Guns n’Roses song, Knocking On Heaven’s Door. His mentor Chris Isaak was not happy saying, “It’s one of the worst songs to give a contestant.” But Cyrus was up the challenge and made a beautiful interpretation of this Bob Dylan classic and earned him a standing ovation!  Judges comments are all positive. James Blunt says: “You sing every song absolutely amazingly, I think I’ve caught the Cyrus Virus.”

It was a hard week for Natalie as she lost her voice and struggled to hit the big notes. Overall, the judges comments were positive. Australia agreed and she is through to the top 6 and will perform again in the next live show. She belongs to the Over 25s category mentored by James Blunt.

Michaela Baranov takes on a Rihanna top song, “Diamonds” that gave her mixed reaction from the judges.  “It felt like an old Grammy’s performance,” Guy said. Mentor Dannii defended Michaela, informing the panel she had suffered a double ear infection this week. “Michaela hasn’t been able to hear everything as we hear it,” she said. “And for me that was the best goddam vocal.” Did  she shine bright like a diamond? We will find out on the next result show.

Louise Adams kicked of the Top 7 Trail Blazer Night performing a solid song as she put a spin on a Lady Gaga‘s big hit,  Bad Romance.  A strong performance from Louise and the four judges gave her pretty good comments. “Rah,rah! Ooh la la! That was amazing,” Guy Sebastian said. Louise was working as a Lawyer before finding music. She is with James Blunt’s team Over 25’s category. She is from South Australia.
