Reece Mastin sang Stayin’ Alive which is a song by the pop group Bee Gees from the Saturday Night Fever motion picture soundtrack. Reece Mastin didn’t really sang it the way Bee Gees did it but instead put a touch of rock tune and tried to make it his own.
40 years old Aussie bloke Andrew Wishart undoubtedly knows how to sing a great Aussie tune. Last night, Andrew Wishart probably delivered one of the best performances last night at the X- Factor Australia 2011 Live show 6. Last week, Andrew Wishart received a standing ovation for his amazing rendition of Dakota by Stereophonics!
Ronan started of with a comment that Christina Parie can go home with this performance. Christina Parie sang Killing Heidi’s first single “Weir” which was released in August 1999 and reached #6 on the ARIA charts. Christina Parie”s performance received a lengthy discussions at the four judges table.
A huge rock solid performance for Reece Mastin this week as he had to sing a Wolfmother song called Joker and The Thief. Wolfmother is an Australian rock band from Erskineville, Sydney. Reece is so far one of the most consistent performers of the X Factor 2011 Australia.

Country Boy Mitchell Callaway wanted to sing a Keith Urban song but again, he is not getting what he wanted to do. His mentor must be saving it for last. Maybe. Mitchell Callaway instead sang Throw Your Arms Around Me – by Hunters and Collectors.
The top 8 of the X- Factor Australia 2011 performed a Michael Jackson Medley with Jason Derulo, an American singer-songwriter, actor, and dancer who has sold over 20 million singles, in the opening number last night.

A Standing ovation for this 40 years old bloke who did an amazing rendition of Dakota by Stereophonics! Andrew performed with so much confidence with his six-strings.
