Johnny Ruffo survived two live deciders with Australian votes went his way. This week’s Ultimate Dance Party! theme perfectly suits Johnny Ruffo having shown Australia that he’s got the dance moves! The most remarkable one is his performance of Michael Jackson’s Billy Jean. Last night, Johnny sang Without You by Usher. Johnny received mixed comments from the four judges: Mel B, Ronan Keating, Natalie Bassingthwaighte and Guy Sebastian. Find out what they have said.
The youngest contestant, Declan Sykes, is still in the competition. For this week’s Live Show 7 Ultimate Dance Party! theme, he is up for the challenge singing Walking On A Dream by Empire Of The Sun. Declan Sykes has a very unique voice and with a personality that is mesmerizing. Watch the video below and find out what Mel B, Ronan Keating, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, and Guy Sebastian had to say about Declan’s performance. Remember, if you like him to stay in the competition, keep voting!
Did this week’s theme Ultimate Dance Party! gave 40 years old Aussie bloke Andrew Wishart a hard time preparing for the live show 7 of the X- Factor Australia 2011? It must be a freaking experience for Andrew Wishart! Probably he was the main focus of attention given that he’s not the type of artist who does “sing and dance.” Pressure was also upon him after delivering excellent performances including a standing ovation for the past two weeks.
The only remaining group at the X- Factor Australia 2011, Three Wishez, performed a wonderful performance with the song I Feel For You/ Push It by Chaka Khan. Joseph Gatehau, Sophia, and Fred-Day made huge improvements not only in their vocal blending but also in delivering solid performance with their choreography.
Christina Parie’s song for the Ultimate Dance Party! Week is When Love Takes Over by Kelly Rowland. Ronan Keating started with a very positive comment saying “welcome back Christina” apparently after Christina Parie did an unconvincing and weak performance last week. The other judges Natalie Bassingthwaighte , Guy Sebastian and Mel B go with Ronan and gave Christina positive comments.
It’s the Ultimate Dance Party! Week at the The X Factor Australia 2011. Songs with disco tunes are expected from the remaining six contestants. Reece Mastin sang Stayin’ Alive which is a song by the pop group Bee Gees from the Saturday Night Fever motion picture soundtrack. Reece Mastin didn’t really sang it the way Bee Gees did it but instead put a touch of rock tune and tried to make it his own.
Did Australia get it wrong when they voted off the next person to leave X-factor Australia 2011? Well, they have spoken. Surely, Australians love these contestants who are safe and will perform again next week: Andrew Wishart, Reece Mastin, Declan Sykes, Christina Parie, and Three Wishez.
