Rochelle Pitt Sings ‘Proud Mary’ X Factor Australia Week 4 Top 10
“Soul Mama” Rochelle Pitt, performed one of the top 10 hits of the legendary singer Tina Turner’ s ‘Proud Mary’. This song reached #4 on the pop charts on March 27, 1971, two years to the week after Creedence Clearwater Revival’s version was at its peak, and won the Grammy Award for Best R&B Vocal Performance by a Group in 1972.
Definitely a ‘wow’ performance this week. She’s on fire! Danii said it’s brilliant and she’s nailed it. Redfoo said Tina Turner will be proud of this performance. Rochelle has a great performance last week singing the famous song by an X Factor finalist in the UK, Rebecca Fergusson, ‘Nothings Real But Love.’
