It was reported that a crowd records with more than 1.6 million people watched New Year’s Eve fireworks display at the Sydney Harbour.The Sydney fireworks cost more than $7 million. The event was telecast around the world with more than a billion people watching the city welcome 2015.
The main event at midnight was a sea of colours with silver umbrellas with crackling centres and gold palms with tips.
