Jason Heerah Sings Guy Sebastian’s “Like It Like That” X Factor Australia Week 8 Top 6

It’s Aussie Week Theme at the X Factor Australia! The remaining Top 6 contestants will sing the biggest songs of Australian artists. Jason kicked-off the show with “Like It Like That“,  the first single from Australian pop, R&B and soul singer-songwriter, Guy Sebastian, a former X factor judge. This song peaked at number one on the ARIA singles chart.

Jason did great of this song! A standing ovation from the judges.  Ronan lauded his performance saying:“What a performance Jason! It was electric!” Nat said: “I love it like that!” Dannii said: “that is exactly the attitude to come back after you were at the bottom three.” His coach Redfoo added: “that is Motown quality right there. That my favorite performance from you! Amazing!”

The Top 7 Results X Factor Australia are revealed and Australia voted Tee, Jason Heera, and Caitlyn Shabolt  at the bottom three for tonight’s sing-off showdown. Redfoo  picked “Stolen Dance” by German duo Milky Chance for Dean on this week’s theme Judges’ Challenge’, where contestants are challenged to sing songs picked by judges who aren’t their mentors.

Another standing ovation for Dean. The judges comments were all positive. Dannii said: “that was perfect! Caitlyn Shadbolt Sings Paramore’s Still Into You X Factor Australia Week 7 Top 7

Last week was a close call for Country Star Caitlyn Shadbolt after she landed on bottom 2.  She needs to step up this week to avoid this similar situation. For this week’s theme, ‘Judges’ Challenge’, where contestants are challenged to sing songs picked by judges who aren’t their mentors, Nat picked the song “Still Into You” is a song by the American rock band Paramore.

Commenting on her performance, Nat said: “you can actually sing any genre… that just like country music.” Dannii was unimpressed with the performance. Redfoo said “you took this challenge and I love your commitment. You gonna make it big time.” Ronan said: “you are absolutely a country star.”

Reigan Derry Sings ‘Dog Days Are Over’ X Factor Australia Week 7 Top 7

For this week’s theme, which is the  ‘Judges’ Challenge,’ contestants are challenged to sing songs picked by judges who aren’t their mentors, Nat picked the song “Dog Days Are Over” for Reigan Derry. This song is the second single released by Florence and the Machine.

Commenting on her performance, Ronan started of by saying: “You are amazing every week. That’s probably the best vocal performance. Unbelievable!” Nat said: “you’ve never disappointed.You deserve a recording contract.” Dannii  added “the whole performance is awesome…good combination!” was impressed with the performance. Her Coach Redfoo finally said: “so amazing. so beautiful.”
