His Bio posted on The Voice Australia Site mentioned that Robbie believes music goes hand in hand with happiness and has recently swapped his university studies from engineering to music. He performs solo gigs around Brisbane covering artists including his favourites Coldplay, Radiohead, Matt Corby and Jack Johnson.

Elly Oh Sings Mamma Knows Best | The Voice Australia 2014

The Voice Australia 2014 has premiered last Sunday for it’s third season. This year coaches are Joel Madden, Ricky Martin and newcomers Kylie Minogue, and will.i.am. These for coaches are battling each other to discover and nurture Australia’s next great voice. Currently, it’s the Blind Auditions where each Coach must select 14 Artists for their team. It’s great to see Australian talents again, young or old, and The Voice Australia is surely a hit reality TV show again.

Elly Oh The Voice Australia 2014Introducing Elly Oh. Elly blew away the Coaches with her powerful performance of Jessie J’s hit “Mamma Knows Best!”. Elly Oh is originally from South Korean and loves to sing Opera and also a music teacher teaching students in her garage. Her performance turned the chairs of all four coaches. Each coach battled it out with their very own persuasive comments but in the end, it was Ricky Martin who will be Elly Oh’s coach.

Student protesters interrupt Q&AStudent protesters surprised ABC’s Q&A program’s avid watchers and studio audience airing their sentiment to the ongoing issues of privatization and deregulation of higher education. They chanted “No cuts. No fees. No corporate universities!” Q&A effectively put on halt and the student protesters goes on to chant “Chris Pyne, get out. We know what you’re all about. Cuts.
