The Four judges Joel Madden, Ricky Martin and newcomers Kylie Minogue, and will.i.am did not hesitate to turn upon hearing the beautiful voice of Brittanie. She is 20 years of age from New South Wales. A Musical theatre performer, Brittanie Shipway wowed the judges, studio audience, and most likely those watching at home. with her rendition of On My Own from Les Miserables.

The X Factor Australia 2012 finally kicked off last night at channel 7. Watching the X Factor Show trailers a few days back, there were standouts and promising singers for this year’s edition. It’s gonna be exciting!

One of them is Jason Owen. Introduced as “the boy from the bush,” Jason Owen, eighteen years of age, is from a country town of 12 people called Albert. He is a truck driver. He loves to sing and mentioned that he had been doing it since he was 5 years old. Heading to the big city for the X Factor Australia 2012, Jason Owen is a step closer to becoming Australia’s X Factor Champion. Watch how he nailed a classic John Denver song, “Annie’s Song.”

Here’s a video that looks back to the journey of Sixteen year old Reece Mastin at the The X Factor Australia 2011, from the day of his audition until last night’s victory of winning the X factor Australia 2011 title and a recording contract .

Reece Mastin also shared his thoughts about his best and worst time at the competition. He said that the worst part was when he sang against Christina Parie, his best friend, in the competition. He has been one of the favorites to win the show after delivering flawless and strong performances night after night.

When Emmanuel Kelly stepped into the audition stage of the X Factor Australia, he had no idea that he had embarked to an amazing journey. His original audition video of him singing Beatle’s John Lennon’s Classic, Imagine, had been watched by millions of viewers in Youtube. He has touched and inspired many lives with his story of survival.

The moment we had been waiting for has come to an end. After 10 weeks of X Factor nights of live shows, Australia voted and have chosen the winner of the X- Factor Australia 2011. The votes were revealed and it was so close with only 1% separating the winner and the runner up.

And the winner is the 16 year old rockstar Reece Mastin! 40 year old Andrew Wishart, was the runner up.

Sing and dance sensation Johnny Ruffo finished third.

What? Sixteen year old Reece Mastin singing with Aussie Superstar Kylie Minoque? What a huge break for this young man. Reece Mastin closed last night’s Grand Finals show of The X Factor Australia 2011 with a duet with Kylie Minogue.

“Kylie Ann Minogue, is an Australian recording artist, songwriter, and actress. After beginning her career as a child actress on Australian television, she achieved recognition through her role in the television soap opera Neighbours, before commencing her career as a recording artist in 1987.
