Australia voted for the second time and the results were out on the second elimination show last night at Channel 7‘s X-factor Australia 2011. The acts voted by Australian audience to stay in the competition are : Young Mens Society, Reece Mastin, Declan Sykes, Johnny Ruffo, Christina Parie, Three Wishez, Audio Vixen, Andrew Wishart, and Mitchell Callaway.

Party Theme Songs this week and Sixteen years old Reece Mastin picked a Katy Perry party song called I kissed a Girl on the 2nd Live Show of The X Factor Australia 2011. It’s a bit bizarre for Reece to choose a girl’s song but it’s not new in the competition after a similar approach made by his fellow contestant Michell Callaway singing a Rihana song last week.

Andrew Wishart Sings The Man Who Can’t Be Moved at The X Factor Australia 2011 First Live Show

Andrew Wishart, a Sales Manager, is showing Australia that it’s never too late to pursue a passion in singing. Andrew is 40 years old and is the oldest contestant of the X-Factor Australia. He sang the Man Who Can Be Moved in the first X Factor Australia 2011 live shows last Monday, 19 September 2011. He had good comments from the four judges: Ronan Keating, Mel B, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, and Guy Sebastian.

X Factor Australia 2011 First Decider The Top 12 Performs Raise Your Glass

Last night, 20 September 2011, was the first elimination show at the X Factor Australia 2011 competition. We have seen the top 12 live performances on the 21st of September 2011 and it was for Australian viewers to vote and decide who will they be sending home based on those performances.

The first ever decider or elimination show has opened with the party mode performance of the Top 12 singing Raise Your Glass.
